Scholars apply to carry out teaching and research assignments and scholarly work in the institutions participating in the Master Course. (See Scholar Admission here)
A distinction is made between European and third-country students (*) and third-country scholars (**). (* see below exception for Western Balkans and Turkey in 2009/2010)Deadline for the academic year 2009/2010 :
Applicants will be selected by the FAME Master Admission Committee and informed in May 2009. Beneficiaries would receive their official admission in June 2009.
(*) For 2009/2010 application, Erasmus Mundus scholarships will be allowed to the Western Balkans and Turkey: Albania, Bosnia Herzergovina, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99Third-country graduate students means a national of a third country other than those from the 27 current and new EU Members States, the countries of the European Economic Area/ European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and candidates countries for accession to the European Union (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey), who has already obtained a first higher education degree, who is not a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries, who has not carried out his/her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any of the Member States or the participating countries, and who has been accepted to register or is registered in an Erasmus Mundus Master Course.
(**) Third-country scholars means a national of a third country other than those from the 27 current and new EU Members States, the countries of the European Economic Area/ European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and candidates countries for accession to the European Union (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey), who is not a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries, who has not carried out his/her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any of the Member States or the participating countries, and who outstanding academic and/or professional experience.
